Tablescape Thursday :: NC Wedding Planner

We have one more day leading to the most romantic day of the year. Today, it's all about the gentlemen!  The weather outside is pretty rough, and the well planned evening with dinner reservations, and even plans to pop "the question" may not happen.  What's a fella to do? Don't cancel that special day that you have spent so much time planning.  Instead, keep it simple, intimate, and romantic by bringing your plans to your home.   Set the atmosphere and create a table designed for two.  Always remember that candles are a great way to create that intimate atmosphere, so add a lot of candles.

Here are a few simple and elegant tablescapes that will inspire you.  Remember to hire a florist or have someone assist you in pulling off this look.  She will definitely be blown away, and you will most likely get a "yes" to that very important question!!

Tabletop Thursday :: NC Indian Wedding Planner

It's Tabletop Thursday!!!   We love over the top centerpiece designs.   During my consultations, I ask my clients what is most important to them on wedding day.  My most popular responses are, time with family and friends and of course, decor. Today's inspiration comes from the fabulous, David Tutera.  The Floral Design company, Prabha Petals created this beautiful tablescape.  Tall full centerpieces filled with a mixture of roses, ranunculas, bells of Ireland, dendrobium orchids, and lots of fillers.  Mini lanterns are positioned throughout the arrangements and are placed at varying heights.   Lanterns and tea light candles are also placed on the tables for additional lighting.  How romantic and elegant!

As a Wedding Planner, consulting with my bride and her wedding professionals (Floral Designer, Caterer, Invitation Designer, and Linen company) to make sure that the client's vision is carried out.    It's important to have everyone on the same page.

I hope this inspires you!

Alternative Summer Bouquets:: { Wedding Planner NC }

It's summer time! That means bright and vibrant colors. Be adventurous with your bouquet. Today we are highlighting great alternatives to roses. You can still achieve elegance and sophistication with these flowers options.

A tip for our summer brides this year.  Limit over sized bouquets, instead go for eye catching smaller, more compact ones which will hold up a lot better in the heat. Check out our Pinterest boards for more fabulous ideas  Here and Here.
